Training and Development

Training and Development

We design bespoke training programmes in our areas of expertise: assessment, performance management and graduate development. We use five key principles to guide our design. Our learning programmes:

  • honour different learning styles
  • are rich and multi-sensory
  • are as close to the participant's reality as possible
  • contain a healthy balance between input and practice
  • are fun!

Some Example Training Courses

How to Succeed as an Interviewer
We have designed an Interview Skills Training Programme that is very practical in approach. Our training includes a half day of theory and then a half day of practice. The latter includes working with "real" candidates to practise the skills learned and get feedback on successes and development areas. To support this training we have written an innovative aid for managers called, How to succeed as an Interviewer. Complementary packs of these cards are offered as part of the course materials.

How to Succeed as a Mentor
We worked with a charity to design a Mentoring Programme for their graduate intake (mentees) and Board of Directors (mentors). We designed a training programme that helped the graduates make the most of the programme and the Directors to perform their role as mentors.

How to Succeed in a new Working Environment
We have worked with clients to design employee orientation workshops - both in the UK and internationally. We design programmes that help staff to adjust to restructuring; re-branding of the company and to highlight the skills they have and those that they will need to be success in the new organisation.
